Expectations are high for the 7th Annual Lobster Boil! Last year's Lobster Boil was a huge success and fun was had by all. The event was sold out,  A Fresh Water Cultured Pearl Necklace from Jack Lewis fine Jewelry was raffled off, and the auctions were a tremendous success.

On August 20, 2011, Bloomington Country Club will once again host the Lobster Boil. This year's event will be hosted by: Illinois Heart and Lung Foundation’s Dr. Robert and Mrs. Linda Braastad and Community Hosts, Mr. Matt and Mrs. Lyn Potts.

Dr. Robert Braastad is a dedicated cardiologist and a member of the Illinois Heart and Lung Foundation Board of Directors. Dr. Braastad and his wife, Linda, believe providing relevant heart and lung health education to our community members will lead the way to healthier families. Matt and Lyn Potts are valued members of our community, who support the Illinois Heart and Lung Foundation’s efforts through Women’s Health Night.

Friends of the Illinois Heart and Lung Foundation will enjoy lobster, music from Jim Vasilu on guitar, and much more!  Jim will play a variety of music from classic rock artists such as Van Morrison, Paul Simon, and John Mellencamp to more contemporary artists like Goo Goo Dolls and John Mayer. 

Just announced: Jack Lewis fine Jewelry will be donating a beautiful SOHO hand enameled sterling silver and diamond bracelet to be raffled off! This bracelet features .48ct worth of diamonds and a deep red color which retails for just under $2,800.00! Don't forget, each reservation includes one entry into this raffle!
